The Gratitude Challenge

I was tagged by @sgt-dan to participate in The Gratitude Challenge which was started by @theycallmedan recently. In his initial call-to-action, he wrote:

So, what has Steem done for me...? To answer that, I am going to tell what the greater "Steem–Discord continuum" (as I call it) has done for me, as Discord is as much a part of the Steem platform for many of us as the Steem blockchain alone.

I am grateful that the Steem–Discord continuum has:

• taught me a bit about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, a subject about which I knew virtually nothing previously


• put a little cryptocurrency into my wallet, some by meager investments as I was able, but more from the exciting opportunity of earning on the platform while growing as an author


• meeting some wonderful people, which lends credence to the oft-repeated quote, "Come for the crypto, stay for the community"


• allowing me the opportunity to become involved with some exciting projects such as SteemTerminal, PowerHouseCreatives, TheRamble, TheAlliance, TeamGood, TheKindnessCollective, SteemSilverGold, PALnet, YouGotSnekked, & many others which has given me an outlet for my talents and skills
