Here is my application to The Alliance
How did you find #thealliance?
I first "found" The Alliance mentioned in a banner at the bottom of a Steemit post after I'd only been on the platform a week or two. I kept seeing the banner appear, here-and-there on the posts of some rather fabulous people. Later, on Discord, I discovered even more wonderful people that are in The Alliance.
One of them even invited me to apply, but I had so much going on at the time that I respectfully declined for fear that I didn't have time to devote to whatever projects they were running. Then, even more members of The Alliance became known to me and other new Steemians began heading that way, too. I still don't know ALL of what happens within The Alliance, but I think it is time I finally try to crack the nut open and see.
Why do you want to be here?
Everyone I have met from The Alliance is awesome and they seem to stick together like family. Rather than merely rubbing shoulders with these good folk in the hallway, I want to explore being part of the pack and howl with them in the moonlight. 🌙
What qualities do you have that would make you a valued member of the family?
One of my strengths has always been providing support to others rather than needing to be in the spotlight. I sometimes have success with graphic designs, compiling information, creating presentations, etc. I also often have success with recognizing patterns and distilling complex ideas into simpler terms which are easier for others to comprehend. I have acquired some diverse skills in my sixty-something years. But to elaborate further, I would need to know more about what might be useful to The Alliance.
