We don't get a lot of snow at the 35th parallel in Kittylandia, thankfully. I am not a fan of cold weather, and it's more difficult to tolerate the older I get. We've had quite a bit of cold weather the past few weeks, though, and a few hours ago we had our first snow of the winter. It was only a couple inches, not too bad at all, and I don't need to go anywhere so it's okay. I think they got much more snow up in the mountains just north of here.
The photo below was taken with my cellphone about 11:00 PM, looking from the front porch out towards the road in front of the house. The lovely green tree with the snow on the branches is a cedar tree. The light that's shining under the branches are the porch lights of the neighbor's house across the road.

I did a little bit of processing on the above photo and came up with the view below, which brightens the scene considerbly, making it look more light daylight than night. It also has an appearance closer to a painting than a photograph.

And then a different processing with pastel hues, which I think is lovely!

Hopefully, warmer weather will be coming soon. I am ready for spring and flowers again! 🌼
