In a rural area, it isn't unusual to see a "feed store" here and there, selling feed for animals. However, I have no clue what the word "security" is doing in the name of this business... perhaps they feel their products are so superior to that of competitors that their customers will have an increased sense of security for the welfare of their animals?


In typical manner when I have a question, I did an onlline search for "security feeds" and found nothing but things related to security of the Internet or the Patriot Act. Even refining the search to "agriculture +'securityfeeds'" yielded nothing that was more enlightening. So, we'll stay with the "better quality = security" explanation! 😁
