It's fun to meet folks in-person whom you've met on a Social Media site. I met some people from Ello a couple of days ago for lunch at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe in Greenville, SC. We had a wonderful time, visiting and chatting for a couple of hours over some good food.
I love trying new things, so I ordered a pogacha. I'd never even heard of pogacha (pronounced: pō - AH' - hah, IPA: poʊ - ɑ:' - hɑ:), but it turns out to be a type of bread from eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Hungary, Turkey, et al.), which looks a bit like a pita, but is soft and flaky like a croissant, and filled with ingredients. It is very tasty, too! They had two varieties on the menu: one with meat, and one with veggies. I ordered the former. The meat was slow-cooked with gravy, like a stew, and included fresh, local greens and feta cheese, also sourced locally.
The flaky-softness of the bread, plus the gravy on the meat, made the sandwich begin to fall apart about halfway through, so I ate the rest of it with my fork. It was so very delicious, and I'd definitely order this again! Yum!
Outside the restaurant, they had assembled several decorations on the porch reflecting the autumn season as well as the impending Hallowe'en holiday. This was the most unique of the decorations, a skeleton playing an old piano!

Thank you for coming along on this adventure, and if you get a chance to try a pogacha, do so!
