One of the prints was large, beautifully framed, and quite striking, depicting a rural scene on a foggy morning in winter. The muted colors and tones were lovely, and was reminiscent of sights I saw when I was a child. It was always a delightful piece to see on a daily basis, and I often spent time looking at it. I often wondered whether this is a real place, frozen in time by the artist, or whether this was an imagined scene from a synthesis of the artist's memories and experiences. Either way, it is pretty, and nicely executed by his skills.
The title of the print is "Foggy Mountain Morning," and the barn in the scene was memorialized as OLD BARN β 043 in my Old Barn Project. This beautiful work is in someone else's possession now, but I remember it fondly, as does my sister-in-law @doana.
To the right of the main print that dominated that wall, there was a smaller print from the same artist, Michael Sloan. It was also signed and numbered as a Limited Edition, but I do not remember the title of the piece (and it is also in someone else's possession now, so I can't check it again). This second barn is OLD BARN β 044 in my Old Barn Project series.
