The construction of this barn is strikingly similar to the last barn. There are two less openings in the loft-level, but this one is in a much better state of repair! If one looks closely, there is a tractor parked in the drive-bay.

This barn is located just one road away from where I was chased-down by a landowner while photographing OLD BARN № 083. If you look closely, near the corner of the shed at the left-side of the photo, you can see the landowner there with his back to us. Thankfully, he didn't chase me down, and hardly even looked towards the road as I drove past, stopped briefly for the photo, then moved on. Granted, he was a good distance from the road, perhaps 300 feet (90 meters), and that might have made a difference. The barn, by the way, is about 377 feet (115 meters) from the road where I stopped.
Despite the tractor in the drive bay of the barn, this does not look like a conventional farm, not from the road nor from the aerial view, below. However, there appears to be rows of carefully planted trees near the road just past where I saw the barn. They appear to be planted purposefully, so I am guessing it is a 'tree farm' where the owner will be harvesting their wood or sap someday when the trees mature. Or, perhaps, he has planted them in a field where crops were once raised, as a way of doing something "green" for Mother Earth. That would be awesome if that were the case! 💚
There is another barn not far away from the "tree farm" area. I am not sure if that is part of the same property as Barn 085 or not, but it's a good possibility since it is on the same side of the road. I will be featuring that barn soon!
Across the street is another farm-looking piece of property with large fields and even a small barn/shed. I have yet to photograph it, though, as the it's up a hill and I have yet to pass the place on a good day when the light is "right" for the shot.

And here is where OLD BARN № 085 is located, relative to other barns I have featured recently, just one road away, or a nice little hike through the woods. Seriously, though, I would really love to walk through that enormous field where OLD BARN № 054 is located! It is such a large and lovely field!

My original shot of OLD BARN № 085 can be seen below, without the artsy processing of the photo seen at the top of this post. Just for reference, the tall tree in front of the barn is actually about 30 feet (9 meters) from the barn, but looks much closer in this view!

This is yet another barn that I would love to peer inside, especially since it appears to be better-maintained than some of the others!
