First, it is adjacent to a large pasture. But second, there is a horse trailer parked nearby! It is the reddish object in the lower-right foreground, and is large-enough to accomodate one or two horses. It would be pulled by a truck, probably for taking the horses to a horse show or a race track.
Looking at an aerial view of the property, four other barns can be seen, which are partly obscured from the road by foliage much of the year. There wasn't a good place along the road for me to stop and photograph them, and they are a good distance from the road, too, so I didn't catalog them.

Looking at the scene from Google Maps "Street View," however, they look nice. And the horses (which I did not see the day I visited) are visible in the drive-by shot:

It would be fun to walk this property and explore those barns, and maybe say, "Hello!" to the horses, too! I have occasionally thought it would be a cool job to drive the Google car and it would mesh perfectly with my hunting for old barns.
