There are so many lovely barns in rural Anderson County, South Carolina, and this one is no exception! Situated in the Lebanon community not far from some of the other barns in my Old Barn Project series, this structure was once part of a working farm. When I made these photos (each on two separate occasions), I did not see any signs of the land's still being used as a farm, however.

The above photo was made looking at the front of the barn in the autumn (November), when many leaves were off the trees, as can be seen by the overhanging branch. The following photo, showing the side of the barn, was made this past summer (July) when everything was lush and green. Look at how pretty the grass is in both photos!
I think this is a beautiful barn, and hope it remains standing for many years to come!
