Within a couple of weeks of joining the Steem blockchain in September of 2017, I began hearing about a community forming, called the @steemitbloggers. I joined the community not long after its founding in October 2017. In fact, this group was the entire reason I downloaded the Discord app, and so was the every first community on the Steem-Discord continuum that I joined! And because of that, I was able to learn subsequently about @steemitramble, @steemsugars, @thealliance, and other fantastic communities.

The @steemitbloggers group, led by @jayie, was established to support and inspire people dedicated to the principles of ⁽¹⁾ blogging quailty content and ⁽²⁾ supporting others — and "inspire"  they did! And, still do! Since I came onto the blockchain, the quality of my blogs improved dramatically. Part of that was due to my own desire to improve myself, but most definitely a large part of it stemmed from the inspiration of the fabulous people in @steemitbloggers.

Not long ago, @steemitbloggers rebranded itself to PowerHouseCreatives because we are not limited to the Steem blockchain, but are expanding to have a presence on other blockchains. Also, some of our members are actively pushing the message of #Steem to traditional social media platforms such as Twitter, and others. Although the new name PowerHouseCreatives is more universal, our "home base" is, and will always be, the Steem blockchain.

Not long ago, we participated in a campaign vying for a 10,000 SP delegation from a generous soul named @theycallmedan. We came in second-place in that contest. That contest, however, created such a stir on the blockchain that it is being reprised with a prize of 20,000 SP delegated for one year. I would love to see the winner of this contest be @steemitbloggers /PowerHouseCreatives, and you can help!

First, we have to win the nomination to be in the contest by having enough people commenting on our behalf on @theycallmedan's post. Then, beginning on 19-Feb-2019, a poll will be conducted on dpoll.xyz where we would really appreciate your vote!

Also, please note that if you vote for one of the other projects that vye for the 20K delegation prize, and then it becomes apparent later in the contest that the project which has your initial vote is not going to win, you can always change your vote until the post pays out! Several people did that for us last time, and it helped tremendously.
