Magnificent Maples

The maple trees are among the most glorious trees in autumn and have really been looking nice in recent days! This is one of my favorites, about a half-mile from where I live and it always puts on a wonderful show of cheerful color this time of year!

I find it fascinating that the leaves appear brighter color on one side and a more muted color on the underside...

This magnificent tree graced the yard of my next-door neighbor, until it was recently cut-down... 😕

Along one street in the town nearest me, there are several pretty maples...

And along a country road not far away is a maple of a different color, more orange...

...and another orange one with a red maple beside it!
