FREE Tokens!

Digital currency exchange Coinbase that is offering people a chance to win FREE cryptocurrency merely by watching a few short (2-minutes each) videos about various tokens! I have done it and earned USD $6 worth of DAI and USD $10,59 of EOS. I am working my way through the XLM (Stellar Lumens) now, and will do the Zcash, BAT, and ZRX tokens next.

This is realΒ β€” after doing the EOS videos, I transferred the 1.5775 EOS earnings to my wallet on the EOS Mainnet, so that proves there is no trick. πŸ’°

So, what is the catch? I don't see one.

Apparently Coinbase has teamed with the issuers of a few digital assets to provide an opportunity for people to learn about those particular tokens and, hopefully, use the services which Coinbase provides in the future. If that happens, it is a "win-win-win" situation: good for the issuers, good for Coinbase, and good for those of us who earn the tokens!

Tokens available for earning currently:

  • DAI (Dai)
  • EOS (EOS)
  • XLM (Stellar Lumens)
  • ZEC (Zcash)
  • BAT (Basic Attention Token)
  • ZRX (0x)

Two things to note:

  • Although the videos are available for viewing by anyone, the ability to earn the tokens depends on where you live. Before companies like Coinbase can operate in any given country, they must obtain a license to do so from the government of that country. Some countries make it easy to do business there, and some make it more difficult. To see a listing of the 103 countries where Coinbase is currently able to operate: CLICK HERE.
  • Many services are offered by Coinbase, including the ability to link bank accounts for buying & selling cryptocurrencies. Because of this, account holders are protected via KYC ("Know Your Customer") verification. This means you might have to upload a photo of your government-issued ID or perform other similar tasks to obtain an account. I say "might" because I signed-up for Coinbase a long time ago so I could buy some Steem, and hurried through the KYC process so I could do that β€” just to earn these tokens and transfer them to another wallet might not require KYC, I don't know.

And speaking of KYC, I have heard many people on the various blockchains speaking ill of entities which require KYC. But as for me, I'm not doing anything illegal and I am very grateful that exchanges where my bank account is linked have KYC to protect unauthorized access to my accounts! πŸ™Œ
