If trees were people...
The OAKS would be the construction workers, the factory employees...
The HICKORIES and CHESTNUTS would be the shopkeepers, the grocers...
The SYCAMORES would be the doctors, the nurses, the CNAs...
The PINES would be the politicians, the CEOs... while the ELMS might be lawyers, diplomats...
But the MAPLES! Oh, the MAPLES! With their brilliant, showy colors, they would be the artists, the photographers, the writers, the dreamers, those who color our world and make it beautiful!
