There are many photos of the glories of autumn which I have not yet shared, and this is one of my favorites. It is a fig leaf, still on our tree, shot in macro with a bokeh of fall color in the background. I was surprised — and delighted! — to later find the pink streak of a lens flare which crept into the frame! I also like the subtle play of light-and-shadow on the upper lobe of the leaf, which resembles a mountain and valleys.
