As autumn continues to march onward in the southern US, the beautiful greenery is fading and giving way to colors in the trees and shrubs. This vine, though, continues to hang with her green garb, and recently was covered in these delightful fuzzy things. They're the seeds of the Wild Clematis (Clematis vitalba).

The flowers are persistent through summer. They are small and pretty, with a faint sweet fragrance.
