This pretty little flower is on a plant that is called "Purple Queen" (Tradescantia pallida) or "Wandering Jew." The leaves are a deep purple, much darker than the flowers. Since the plant grows close to the ground and spreads easily, by itself, many people use this as "ground cover" vegetation.
If the flowers look familiar to some of you, it might be because this is part of the larger "spiderwort" family of plants!
