Autumn Clouds

I enjoy cloud-watching, but there hasn't been anything spectacular up there lately. To be sure, the clouds are always amazing when one thinks about what they are, how they formed, how high up they are, and so forth. But none recently has made me dash back inside for my camera-phone, until these showed themselves!

And what a sight these clouds were with the gorgeous colors of the autumn leaves framing the view! πŸ’–

The camera did not do justice to how these clouds looked in real life. They looked like white marshmallows that had been slightly heated and smeared across the sky! The photo below does a little better in protraying how they looked to my eye, but it still falls short. Mother Nature is truly amazing! 😊

One of my favorite leaves this time of year are those on the Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) trees. They turn a lovely shade of yellow in the autumn and are shaped like hearts! πŸ’›
